This WordPress plugin enables you to use nextgenconvert.com automaticly in your WordPress website in a plug-and-play way, making it straightforward and hassle-free to optimize your images directly within your WordPress dashboard.
This plugin, while still in its early stages, is set for continuous enhancement. We warmly welcome any requests for new features or bug reports — your feedback is crucial for our improvement.

Installation
- Download the NextGenConvert plugin from the WordPress plugin directory.
- Upload the plugin files to the
/wp-content/plugins/nextgenconvertdirectory, or install the plugin through the WordPress plugins screen directly. - Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ screen in WordPress.
- After activation, navigate to the NextGenConvert settings page to configure the plugin.
- If you don’t have a subscription, purchase one from nextgenconvert.com.
- Enter your API key from nextgenconvert.com into the designated field and click ‘Save’.
- Choose your desired image quality settings within the plugin and click ‘Save’.
- Begin the conversion process to transform your images into the WebP format.
- Verify that your website is now serving images in WebP format. Remember to clear any website caches to properly see the changes.
