About Sizemint Size Chart
From the official readme Β· v1.0.4Description
Sizemint provides two tools for helping WooCommerce shoppers choose the right size: a product size chart and Fit Finder, which recommends a size from the shopper’s measurements.
Sizemint keeps its feature set focused on size charts and size recommendation, and its core features are free, not a time-limited trial.
Size Chart:
- Build a size chart with a simple, click-and-type table editor β no code required.
- Assign a chart to an individual product, or to an entire product category as a fallback.
- Choose how charts appear, store-wide: as a popup (button opens a chart window), as their own product tab, or not automatically at all.
- Place any chart manually anywhere on your site with the
[sizemint_chart]shortcode, independent of the display setting above. - A clean, styled table out of the box β shaded header row, alternating rows for readability, and the chart’s own title shown clearly, not a bare grid of numbers.
Fit Finder:
- A shopper enters their own measurements and gets a direct size recommendation β not just a table to read themselves.
- Supports up to six measurement types per product β Chest, Waist, Hip, Height, Sleeve Length, and Inseam β and only asks the shopper about the ones that actually apply to that product.
- The recommendation engine never averages measurements against each other: one dimension being clearly wrong for a size can’t be masked by the others looking fine, so a shopper is only ever told a size with genuine confidence, or told plainly that nothing fits confidently.
- Works in centimeters or inches, on both the merchant’s table and the shopper’s own input, converting automatically between them.
- On a variable product, Fit Finder checks the recommended size against what’s actually currently purchasable, and says so plainly if the size it would otherwise recommend isn’t available right now.
- A Size Chart can optionally be linked directly to a Fit Finder table, so the same measurement data powers both β the chart then shows the real ranges (e.g. “88β96 cm”) instead of a separate, hand-maintained table.
Chart data β and Fit Finder measurement data β is checked before it’s saved: an incomplete or invalid entry is rejected, and the previously saved version is kept. Core features are free β permanently.
Installation
- Upload the plugin files to /wp-content/plugins/, or install directly through the WordPress admin.
- Activate the plugin.
- Requires WooCommerce to be installed and active.
Changelog
1.0.4
- Fixed: Fit Finder inch measurements now round consistently across supported PHP versions, including exact halfway values.
1.0.3
- Fixed: a Size Chart linked to a valid Fit Finder table can now be published and displayed even when the chart’s own rows are empty. A valid linked Fit Finder table takes precedence; if the link is later removed or becomes invalid, the chart falls back to its own stored rows, which are preserved while linked.
1.0.2
- Internal code prefix changed from
SMZ/smz_toSIZEMINT/sizemint_(classes, functions, constants, options, settings groups, post types, post/term meta keys, transient keys, nonce actions/fields, menu slug, script/style handles, JS globals, CSS classes/IDs/custom properties) after WordPress.org review found the previous 3-character prefix too short (minimum is over 4 characters). - Renamed the
smz_fitfinder_tablepost type tosizemint_fitfinder(not the literalsizemint_fitfinder_table) to stay within recommended custom-post-type identifier length. - Renamed all
class-smz-*.phpsource files and thetest-smz-resolution.phptest file to theirsizemintequivalents.
1.0.1
- Internal code prefix changed from
WSC/wsc_toSMZ/smz_(classes, functions, hooks, options, post types) for directory naming-collision compliance. - Hardened sanitization of chart and Fit Finder JSON data on save.
- Restricted the custom font-family appearance setting to a safe font-family value.
- Text domain aligned to the plugin slug (
sizemint-size-chart).
1.0.0
- Size Chart: chart builder, product and category assignment, popup/tab/none display modes, the
[sizemint_chart]shortcode, and save-time data validation. - Fit Finder: multi-measurement (Chest/Waist/Hip/Height/Sleeve Length/Inseam) size recommendation engine, per-product measurement selection, cm/in unit support with authoritative precision normalization, conservative variation-availability awareness, and an explicit, optional link from a Size Chart to a Fit Finder table so the same data powers both.
