About ReadyStack Accessibility Statement Lint
From the official readme · v1.0.0Description
Checks the accessibility statement you already published against the EU model statement and its two dates — a consultant charges $150-$250 an hour.
What it does
It reads an accessibility statement you have already published and reports what the EU model statement requires and your file does not contain. Nineteen checks cover the commitment sentence, the legal basis, the compliance status wording, the three reason categories for non-accessible content, the disproportionate burden assessment, the date of preparation, the date of last review, the feedback channel and the enforcement procedure.
How to use it
- Install and activate the plugin.
- Edit the page or post where you want the tool and add the shortcode
[readystack_accessibility_statement_lint]. In the block editor, use a Shortcode block. - Open the page, paste the file you want to check into the box, and read the findings listed underneath. Nothing is uploaded.
What you can do with the results
Each finding names the rule it breaks and the fix. Correct the flagged lines, paste the file again, and keep the clean result as a dated record of the check for your checklist, ticket or client report.
Privacy
The tool runs in the browser of whoever opens the page. The plugin makes no external requests, sets no cookies, adds no tracking and stores nothing in your database. It has no settings screen.
Source code
The JavaScript and CSS files in the plugin’s assets folder are the complete, human-readable source. There is no build step: nothing is compiled, bundled or minified, so what you read is what runs.
Free and paid
The free tool on this page is complete for one pasted file at a time: every finding is listed with the rule it breaks and the fix. Nothing in this plugin is locked or time-limited. A separate paid version for teams is sold on our website, not inside this plugin. Full version: https://getreadystack.com/tools/accessibility-statement-lint?ref=wporg

Frequently asked questions
Who is this for?
Public sector web teams in the EU, the digital agencies that publish on their behalf, and private-sector service providers now covered by the European Accessibility Act. If somebody on your team owns a page titled Accessibility statement, and a national monitoring body can sample that page without warning, this extension checks the exact file the body will read.
Why can’t I just ask a chatbot or use a free accessibility checker?
A chat assistant writes you a brand new statement in seconds, but it cannot open the one already live on your domain, and it has no reliable sense of today’s date against your last review date. Free contrast and WCAG checkers test pages, not this document. The defects here are missing sections, stale dates and unfilled placeholders.
Does the plugin send data anywhere?
No. Everything is worked out in the browser and nothing leaves the page.
Do I need an account or an API key?
No. The free tool is self-contained.
