- SECURITY: Password resets now require the one-time key from the reset email. Previously the reset handler trusted a publicly available nonce and an attacker-supplied username, allowing any account to be taken over.
- SECURITY: Payment and subscription links now carry HMAC-signed JSON instead of serialized data, removing a PHP object injection vector and preventing tampering with the payment amount.
- SECURITY: Stripe webhook events are now verified by signature, or re-fetched from Stripe when no signing secret is set. Forged events can no longer grant memberships.
- SECURITY: Subscription cancel, pause and resume now require a logged-in owner or an administrator.
- SECURITY: Receipt links are signed, preventing enumeration of other customers’ names and email addresses.
- SECURITY: reCAPTCHA can no longer be bypassed by omitting the response field.
- SECURITY: Added capability checks to the admin subscription sync and cancel AJAX actions.
- FIX: Removed an undefined variable passed to wp_update_user() when editing an account.
- FIX: Replaced a call to the private core function get_post_type_labels() with the public get_post_type_object()->labels equivalent (Plugin Check error).
- FIX: Corrected a variable-variable typo ($$test_mode_order) in the admin branding bar that silently prevented the commission order test-mode badge from ever displaying.
