Reduce clutter and stay productive.
Focus Mode simplifies the admin area by minimizing distractions and improving clarity while you work.

Changelog
Recommended: Block Editor fullscreen and canvas styling fixes, new Posts & Pages list options, and sidebar loading fixes.
1.6.4
Block Editor
Fixed: Turning off fullscreen mode now keeps the YOOAdmin header and sidebar fully visible and usable around the editor.
Fixed: Editor content now keeps the active theme’s styles. Dark mode only darkens backgrounds and text; brand and link colors stay unchanged. Turn off dark mode in the editor to see the original colors.
Fixed: Removed a duplicate appearance toggle shown in the editor header.
Posts & Pages
Added: Settings to turn AJAX loading on or off and to choose the number of items shown per page.
Added: Numbered pagination when AJAX loading is turned off.
Interface
Fixed: The classic sidebar menu could open empty.
Fixed: Header and sidebar now appear together on page load, without a blank or delayed sidebar.
Fixed: The Enable Focus Mode link could return a 404 page.
Fixed: The YOOAdmin front-end toolbar now includes the Customize link (Edit Site on block themes).
Improved: Front-end toolbar icons now show labels on hover and keyboard focus, with accessible names for screen readers.
Improved: Add Plugins cards now fill the available width without empty gaps.
1.6.3
Fixed: Minor bug fixes and improvements.
1.6.2
Studio Hub Dashboard
Fixed: Welcome card hover showed a leftover peach Edit control in the header instead of the intended Edit Mode action.
Fixed: Sidebar navigation could briefly disappear on page load (for example when opening Report a Bug or similar screens).
Fixed: Page scrollbar now appears when the pointer nears the page edge (custom overlay); sidebar scroll behavior unchanged.
Fixed: Medium content width could stick to the edges instead of staying centered with proper gutters across admin pages.
Improved: Asset versioning now follows file changes more reliably so UI fixes are not held back by stale admin CSS/JS caches.
Studio Hub Dark Mode
Fixed: Registration and similar settings screens kept light pastel card headers and callouts in dark mode.
Fixed: Status and role chips are preserved as compact colored pills; wide pastel banners and panels are darkened correctly instead of being treated like chips.
Fixed: Accordion and section titles that stayed too light or too thin on dark surfaces.
Fixed: Third-party dashboard widgets showed unreadable contrast — pastel error banners with light text, near-black metric figures, and white chart shells on dark cards.
Fixed: Wide light info strips kept pale backgrounds while labels were forced light, making them nearly invisible.
Improved: Dark engine contrast now applies earlier and more reliably on the Studio Hub dashboard, including late-mounted React widget content.
1.6.1
Hotfix for 1.6.0.
Fixed: Sidebar sections did not keep items after a refresh, and custom icons were not saved.
Fixed: Menu icons, page dots, and the current-page highlight appeared only after the page finished loading.
1.6.0
Focus Mode Sidebar (new)
Added: A redesigned Focus Mode sidebar with three layouts — expanded, icons-only, and hidden — selectable from Settings with a visual preview.
Added: Side flyout submenus with type-based icons, tooltips, and multi-column layouts for long menus.
Added: Overflow paging — extra items move to a second page behind a “more” control instead of a scrollbar.
Added: Live customization from the sidebar itself — drag and drop, create, rename, and delete sections, group entries, and choose icons for top-level and sub items.
Added: Sidebar layouts saved per user on the server, available on any device, with one-click reset.
Added: Full color customization from the Theme Colors page.
Added: Dedicated mobile drawer.
Improved: Refined rail visuals — engraved separators, softer icons, quieter scrollbar, and a redesigned Focus Mode toggle.
Toolbar Shortcuts
Added: Shortcuts editor in Edit Mode — reorder, change icons, show all shortcuts, and reset to defaults, saved per user.
Added: Tooltips on every shortcut icon.
Improved: A fixed number of shortcuts stays on the bar; only extras move into the overflow menu.
Improved: Overflow menu restyled to match the sidebar flyouts.
Fixed: Appearance, screen width, and language controls stay pinned and can no longer be hidden, moved, or duplicated.
Dashboard & Layout
Added: Reset and quick-add controls next to Edit Mode in the welcome card.
Added: Optional footer visibility control while in Edit Mode.
Improved: Simplified the workspace card by removing duplicate edit and reset actions.
Improved: Softer, centered copyright line across all pages.
Dark Mode
Fixed: Sidebar flyout submenus kept light colors on third-party plugin screens; brand colors can no longer override the dark sidebar palette.
Fixed: Dark Mode is recognized through every Dark Engine marker, so plugin pages no longer fall back to light navigation colors.
Fixed: Empty dark panels on plugin screens caused by legacy first-paint styling applied to loaders, overlays, and headers.
Fixed: Plugin header bars are no longer rendered as an empty card above the page content.
Fixed: Notice-only and empty page wrappers no longer render as hollow rectangles.
Fixed: White flash on page load before the adaptive pass completes.
Improved: Editor-heavy screens load noticeably faster.
Improved: Surface detection now follows real page structure instead of class-name guesses.
Compatibility
Fixed: Restored compatibility with the desktop app integration after its rename.
Improved: Header and sidebar are hidden in desktop app mode for a cleaner window.
1.5.16
Performance
Fixed: Database schema check for Activity and Workspace Notes could run more often than necessary; it is now version-gated.
Fixed: Notifications schema checks and repeated table-existence queries no longer run on every admin/REST request.
Improved: Admin-only modules are skipped on anonymous frontend requests, reducing YOOAdmin’s per-request footprint.
Improved: Notification feed endpoint query overhead reduced significantly on admin/REST requests.
