Installation
Install from WordPress.org (recommended)
- In your WordPress admin, go to Plugins → Add New.
- Search for “WPRobo Engage”.
- Click Install Now, then Activate.
- Open WPRobo Engage in your admin menu and create your first campaign.
Manual install
- Download the plugin ZIP file from the WordPress.org page.
- Go to Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin.
- Choose the ZIP file and click Install Now.
- Activate the plugin.
- Open WPRobo Engage in your admin menu and create your first campaign.
After activation
A new WPRobo Engage menu item appears in your WordPress sidebar. Start with the template library to launch your first campaign in under five minutes.

Does this plugin require an account or license key?
No. The free version is fully functional. There is no account creation, no license key, and no time-limited trial.

How many campaigns can I create in the free version?
Unlimited. There is no cap on the number of campaigns, popups, floating bars, or slide-ins you can create or run simultaneously.
Does WPRobo Engage work with my theme?
Yes. The plugin is theme-agnostic and works with any well-coded WordPress theme. All front-end styles are scoped with a wpr- prefix so they won’t conflict with your theme’s CSS.
Will this slow down my site?
No. Campaign assets are loaded only when needed and the front-end script is small and minified. The plugin doesn’t load anything on pages where no campaign is active.
Does it work with caching plugins (WP Rocket, W3 Total Cache, LiteSpeed, etc.)?
Yes. Campaign trigger logic runs in the browser, so cached pages work normally. If you use page caching with mobile/desktop separation, no special configuration is needed.
Can I integrate with my email service provider?
Yes — two ways: Mailchimp has native integration. Add your API key in Settings and your leads sync automatically. Any other provider (ConvertKit, AWeber, MailerLite, Brevo, ActiveCampaign, etc.) works via the embed code field. Paste the provider’s HTML form embed and you’re done. For native integrations with other ESPs, see the Pro version.
Can I show different campaigns on different pages?
Yes. The Smart Display Rules let you target campaigns by specific pages, posts, categories, tags, URL patterns, the homepage, archive pages, or user role.
Where are my leads stored?
In your own WordPress database. No third-party servers, no syncing to external dashboards. Your data stays on your site.
Can I export collected leads?
Yes. Every campaign has a one-click CSV export of all collected leads.
Is the plugin GDPR compliant?
The plugin itself stores only what visitors voluntarily submit through your form (typically email and any fields you configure). It does not set tracking cookies on its own. You are responsible for adding the appropriate consent text and privacy policy disclosure to your campaign forms as required by your jurisdiction.
Does WPRobo Engage support A/B testing?
A/B testing is available in WPRobo Engage Pro. The free version supports a single variation per campaign.
Can I duplicate or import/export campaigns between sites?
Yes. Campaigns can be exported as JSON and imported on another WordPress site running WPRobo Engage. This makes it easy to clone a high-performing campaign across multiple sites.
What happens to my data if I deactivate or delete the plugin?
Deactivation leaves all your campaigns and leads intact. Deleting the plugin from Plugins → Delete runs a clean uninstall — all plugin-created database tables and options are removed. Export your leads to CSV first if you want to keep them.
