Save & Clear Cart for WooCommerce empowers shoppers to manage their carts effortlessly. Whether customers want to empty their cart with a single click or save their current selections for later, this plugin delivers a smooth, frictionless shopping experience.
Both registered customers and guest shoppers can save multiple named carts, review saved items, and restore them anytime with the choice to either replace the active cart or merge items into their current selection.

Installation
Automatic Installation

Does this plugin work for guest users?
Yes. Guest users can save and restore carts during their session. When a guest registers or logs in, their saved carts are automatically linked and migrated to their user account.
Can customers save more than one cart?
Yes. Customers can create and name multiple carts (e.g., “Monthly Supplies”, “Office Hardware”, “Birthday Gifts”) and manage them independently.
What is the difference between Replace and Merge when restoring a cart?
Replace: Empties the current cart before loading the saved cart items. Merge: Keeps the items currently in the cart and adds the saved items to them, combining quantities if an item is already present. Store administrators can set a default mode or let the customer choose via a modal prompt.
Where do customers see their saved carts?
Registered customers can see and manage their saved carts directly in My Account > Saved Carts, as well as beneath the cart table on the Cart page. You can also place the saved carts table on any page using the [wpgenie_saved_carts] shortcode.
Can I customize the button colors to match my theme?
Yes. Go to WooCommerce > Settings > Save & Clear Cart to change the background, text, and border colors for both the “Clear Cart” and “Save Cart” buttons without writing any custom CSS.
Does this plugin work with new block themes and Full Site Editing (FSE)?
Yes. It is fully compatible with modern WordPress block themes (such as Twenty Twenty-Four, Twenty Twenty-Five, and other FSE themes), the WooCommerce Cart Block, and all standard classic WooCommerce themes.
