• Fixed: the customer “Order cancelled” email now carries the credit invoice. WooCommerce builds that email before the cancellation credit was created, and it was not among the emails the plugin attaches to; the credit is now created ahead of the email and “Cancelled order” is a choice under “Attach documents as PDF to emails” (on for stores that had attachments on). The WooCommerce email itself must be enabled under WooCommerce > Settings > Emails.

• Fixed: PDF download and email attachment failed with “Could not load invoice file” after the SmartPay API started reporting the document file as a status object (document_file) instead of a bare file_url. Both shapes are now read, and a document whose PDF could not be rendered is logged with the API’s reason.

• Added: “Send” next to each document in the Orders list and on the order screen, plus “Send SmartPay documents to customer” in the Order actions dropdown — emails the PDF to the billing address through the WooCommerce customer-invoice email and records the outcome as an order note.
• Added: the “Attach documents as PDF to emails” setting now lists the customer emails — Processing order, Completed order, Customer invoice / Order details, Refunded order. Stores that had attachments on get all of them; the refund email carries the credit invoice issued for that refund (previously no credit invoice was ever emailed).
• Added: an order line’s meta (variation attributes, personalisation, an expiry date…) is sent as the item description, printed under the item name once the document layouts show it.
• Added: the number of installments is recorded on the document transaction for orders paid through SmartPay Payments (was always 1).
• Fixed: the Download buttons on the order screen and in My Account no longer disappear for paid orders left on “Processing”.
• Added: receipts and invoice-receipts show how the order was paid — card brand, last 4 digits, approval number and the date of payment — for orders paid through SmartPay Payments (split Multipass payments included). Only the last 4 digits and the brand are sent, never a card number or expiry date.

• Added: partial refunds create a credit invoice for the refunded amount — one per WooCommerce refund, whether made from the WooCommerce refund screen or by a payment plugin (e.g. SmartPay Payments), listing the refunded lines when WooCommerce recorded them. Credits are capped at the order total; cancelling a partially refunded order credits the balance.
• Changed: completing an order that already reached “Processing” no longer creates a document — its document belongs to the Processing step (orders completed directly, e.g. virtual products, still get one).

• Added: “Automate orders created from” setting — automatic document creation skips orders created before the date automation was switched on (set automatically, editable). Manual “Create invoice” still works for older orders.
