Installation

Automatic installation

Automatic installation is the easiest option as WordPress handles the file transfers itself and you do not need to leave your web browser. to do an automatic installation. Login to your WordPress dashboard, navigate to the Plugins menu and click Add New. In the search field type “Sendbox-Shipping” and click Search Plugins. Once you find this plugin install it and activate it.

After copying your key from sendbox dashboard, come back to your wordpress dashboard, navigate to woocommerce shipping settings, then you click on sendbox shipping, enable it by checking the check box. Paste your API Key and then click on connect to sendbox button

Will this plugin update the order status on my site?

Sendbox shipping plugin automatically updates the order status of orders made on your site, you don’t have to change order status manually. Be sure to set your woocommerce to auto email customers each time order status is change, your customers can know the status of their order when it is updated.

Route API calls directly to Sendbox again. 5.5.9 sent them through a neutral gateway hostname to work around merchant networks that could not complete a TLS handshake to sendbox.co; that was a path-MTU issue and has been fixed on the Sendbox server, so the extra hop is no longer needed.

Shipment updates from Sendbox that do not correspond to a final outcome (accepted, delivered, rejected, cancelled) now move the order to a new “In transit” status instead of being ignored. Orders that are already completed, cancelled or refunded are left alone and the update is recorded as an order note.

Fix checkout intermittently showing “no shipping options”: stop fetching the Sendbox profile on every rate calculation (it was a blocking call that timed out under load and aborted the quote before it ran). Origin name/phone now read from saved settings. On a transient API failure the cached empty result is cleared so checkout recalculates instead of staying stuck. Added request timing to the logs and lowered the API timeout.
