About OrderFloor
From the official readme · v1.13.12Description
Set purchasing rules without custom code. Edit six shopper notices, explain needed changes and preview carts before saving.
Free works locally without an account, payment, licence or external connection. Features never expire. Optional sharing/email choices start unchecked.
Examples you can set up in Free
- Require a €50 order: €35 in qualifying products needs €15 more. The notice explains the difference.
- Require three units: count eligible quantities across the cart, including repeated products.
- Sell a product in packs of six: allow 6, 12, 18 and so on.
- Exclude samples: bypass restrictions and exclude them from counted subtotals and units.
Uses your currency; rules can apply together.
Order limits and product quantities
- Minimum/maximum cart subtotal before or after coupons.
- Minimum/maximum total units per order.
- Product/variation quantity limits, pack multiples and starting quantities.
- Store defaults and variation inheritance: blank inherits; zero disables. Free checks each variation separately.
- Stock-aware Classic/Blocks controls, including shared variation stock and held reservations.
- Optional Classic pack dropdowns; native Blocks controls.
- Server-side Classic/Blocks cart and checkout validation.
Clear guidance for shoppers
Default notices explain qualifying amounts/units, corrections, coupons and exclusions. Supported product forms explain when stock cannot satisfy a pack.
Edit six notices: minimum/maximum spend and units, pack multiples and whole units. Use plain-text wording and value placeholders.
Try a rule before applying it
Spend, quantity and pack presets show passing/blocked examples and change your draft only. Test catalogue products in Cart preview, review the comparison and save.

Optional OrderFloor Pro add-on
Pro adds rules for existing wholesale/customer roles, product spending limits, category requirements, mixed cases of one parent’s variations and visual progress. Tools include CSV, reviewed bulk edits, mapped transfers, resumable jobs, named test suites, schedules and handover reports.
Pro is a separate paid plugin. Its editing/tools require initial online licence activation; WordPress Multisite activation is not supported. Explore Pro shows local examples; suggestions are dismissible.
Requirements and supported scope
Requires WooCommerce 8.3+, WordPress 6.5+ and PHP 7.4+. Supports Classic/Blocks cart and checkout and HPOS. Product fields use WooCommerce’s classic Inventory and Variations editors, not the block product editor.
Uses whole units. Fractional quantities, bundles/composites, subscription renewals, third-party quick-order flows and currency-conversion plugins are unsupported. Orders created directly in admin or through the orders REST API, and existing-order payment pages, are outside enforcement. Complex or split-line carts may fall back to ordinary controls and server validation.
Subtotal excludes tax, shipping and fees. Currency changes do not convert saved limits. The tester does not apply coupon codes or simulate stock, shipping, payments or every extension. Test passing and blocked storefront carts with your theme and checkout extensions before going live.
Privacy and external service
Rules run locally; no shopper profiling or customer/order data is sent. Local storage: settings, ten revisions with editor ID/time (no timed expiry), and one-hour recovery drafts. Browser preferences remain until cleared. Support reports contain versions, plugin names and redacted rules; review them before sharing. They are not sent automatically.
Optional welcome service: two independent unchecked choices. Skip, close or save neither to send no welcome request. Updates do not broaden earlier permissions.
- Compatibility sharing sends the site domain, WordPress/PHP versions and site language.
- Email signup sends your editable email and Free/Pro edition; confirmation is required. New subscriptions start with tips, releases, weekly blog articles, offers and all current interests selected. Email preferences control topics, frequency and unsubscribe; existing choices stay unchanged. Purchase-history personalization and link tracking start off. Offers require consent and a recent Free report.
Selected data goes by verified HTTPS to https://orderfloor.com/newsletter-api/v1/plugin-welcome/ with a random connection ID, protected credential and consent version. The service receives the network address and stores credential hashes and consent/report times. Email-only signup sends no site domain. No customer data, orders, names, rules or plugin lists are included.
Reports refresh weekly, with edition-change reports/retries as needed; WP-Cron depends on traffic. Manage welcome choices to stop either scope or retry failed removal. Site-address changes pause reporting. Stopping email sharing cancels pending signup and removes the edition report; confirmed subscriptions require the email unsubscribe link. Uninstall removes local credentials without contacting the service.
Retention: inactive report/control data 90 days; pending signup 48 hours; confirmed subscriptions at most 730 days; consent/suppression 180 days. Cleanup/backups can delay deletion. WordPress privacy tools cover local email choices; a keyed retry fingerprint remains until remote removal succeeds.
Previous installation sharing: older consented connections send daily HTTPS reports to https://orderfloor.com/installation-api/v1/: hostname, random installation ID, edition/plugin versions and consent version for statistics/support. Stop/delete them in Previous installation sharing. Records expire after 90 inactive days; deletion retries last up to 90 days. A pseudonymous revocation fingerprint has no expiry to prevent recreation. No email, customer, order, visitor or settings data is reported.

- Try Cart preview, choose Review changes and confirm the save.

Frequently asked questions
Can I set a minimum for one product?
Free sets product/variation quantities and packs. A product-specific monetary minimum requires Pro; Free spending limits cover the qualifying cart.
Does a minimum of five and a pack size of six allow 5, 11 and 17?
No. Valid multiples are 6, 12, 18 and so on. The minimum sets the floor, not the sequence origin.
Can I keep my own shopper messages?
Yes. Store rules > Messages supports {label}, {target}, {current} and {remaining}. Blank uses standard wording; custom messages keep their wording on update. Remaining-amount notices are Free; visual progress is Pro.
Is there a setup wizard or required signup?
No. New installations open Store rules after ordinary manual activation. Optional welcome choices may appear after saving an active limit. Review these choices from the footer at any time.
What happens when I deactivate or delete the plugin?
Deactivation keeps settings and stops reports. Deletion removes Free’s local welcome choices, credentials and temporary forms. Enable Delete data on uninstall to remove its settings, revisions and product-rule fields too. Pro has a separate deletion preference. Products/orders remain. Cached drafts expire within an hour; clear browser copies, exports and backups separately. Disconnect sharing before deletion to request remote removal; unsubscribe confirmed email subscriptions through their email link.
Changelog
