About NS Smooth Scroll Back to Top
From the official readme · v2.0.0Description
Want to add a back to top button to your WordPress site? Whether your pages are long articles, product catalogs, or landing pages, a back to top button gives visitors a fast, elegant way to return to the top of the page without endless scrolling — improving navigation and keeping people engaged with zero configuration and zero coding required.
Install, activate, and your back to top button is ready. It’s that simple.
Why add a smooth scroll back to top button?
On long pages, scrolling back to the menu or the top of the content can be slow and frustrating. A back to top button fixes that in one click, reduces bounce rate, and makes your site feel faster and more polished. NS Smooth Scroll Back to Top adds this feature to any WordPress theme in seconds, with full control over appearance and behavior — no code required.
Full customization, no code required
From your WordPress admin you can set:
- Button position — choose where the back to top button appears on the page (NEW)
- Icon or text — use a FontAwesome icon or custom text as the scroll-to-top arrow
- Background color and background color on hover
- Text color and text color on hover
- Border color and border color on hover
- Scroll speed — control how fast the smooth scroll back to top animation runs
- The button appears only when visitors scroll down, keeping your design clean on page load
Want to use your own custom image? Upgrade to Premium.
The free version lets you choose a FontAwesome icon or text as your back to top arrow. If you’d rather use your own custom image — your logo, a branded icon, or any graphic you like — the NS Back To Top Premium (BTTA) version gives you:
- Custom image upload — use any image as your back to top button instead of a FontAwesome icon
- Width and height control — set the exact size of your uploaded image
