The auto internal linker works independently of the AI writer. Every article’s focus keyword and secondary keywords are indexed site-wide when published. When any post is viewed, the plugin automatically injects links to matching posts at render time — nothing is written permanently to your database. Deactivate the plugin and all injected links disappear cleanly. Your articles stay, your data stays, nothing is held hostage.

External Services

This plugin connects to backend.autoblogging.dev to handle API key issuance/validation and AI article generation. This is a required service call, since all AI processing happens on our external servers, not locally, there is no local AI model or offline generation logic in this plugin.

What is sent and when:

• On explicit user action only: clicking “Connect” on the Getting Started page sends your site URL and admin email to request an API key. Nothing is sent automatically on activation, no opt-out is needed because no data is sent without this explicit click.
• On each article generation: selected category, used keywords, and used titles are sent to generate content.
• On every plugin admin page, only once an API key is saved: the API key is sent to retrieve the current credit balance. Nothing is sent to check credits before an API key exists.
• On API key validation: API key, timestamp, and HMAC signature are sent periodically to confirm the key is still valid.

No personally identifiable user data is collected beyond the site URL and admin email used for API key issuance, and both are only sent after the user explicitly clicks Connect.
