- Go to Settings > AKAVA ScrollTop
- Enable Reading Progress and choose your preferred position

Yes. Enable SmartDock in settings and it will automatically move your back-to-top button to avoid chat plugins, cookie consent banners, email signup forms, and any floating widget. Add a CSS class to your widget if overlap occurs.
What about privacy? Does it track visitors?
Zero tracking. The plugin stores zero visitor data, uses no cookies or local storage, makes no external API calls, includes no analytics, and complies with GDPR, CCPA, and ePrivacy Directive. All configuration is stored only in your WordPress database.
Does it work with RTL languages?
Yes. The button uses logical CSS positioning so it mirrors naturally in LTR languages like English, French, and Spanish, as well as RTL languages like Arabic, Hebrew, and Farsi.
How does Reading Progress work?
ContentProgress measures reading in three ways: automatic detection of main content, manual selector input for custom content areas, or whole page measurement as fallback. The progress bar updates smoothly as visitors scroll.
Can I use my own icon or image?
Yes. Choose any image from your Media Library for the arrow icon. SVG files work if your site already allows them. The plugin does not inline SVG markup automatically for security reasons.
What happens when I disable or delete the plugin?
Settings are kept by default so you can re-enable without reconfiguring. Enable “Delete settings on uninstall” if you want a clean removal.
Does it work with infinite scroll or AJAX?
Yes. Works with AJAX and infinite scroll setups. The button recalculates position and progress as content loads dynamically.
