About AICreativa Music Player
From the official readme · v3.10.0Description
AICreativa Music Player is a modern audio player for WordPress, built for DJs, producers, labels and musicians who care how their music is presented. Real waveform analysis, a live frequency analyzer, and three very different skins — including a promo player for sending music out before it is released. Fast, and it adds nothing you did not ask for.
Three skins, one player
- Skin 1 — inline player. Sits inside your content as a single track or a full playlist with artwork, waveform and track list.
- Skin 2 — docked bar. A slim bar fixed to the bottom of the screen, with a collapsible playlist and analyzer panel. Put it on a single page with a shortcode, or on every page from Settings, and let it carry on playing as visitors move around the site.
- Skin 3 — promo player. For sending music out before release: the same playlist, with a feedback form, a download on every track, and no BUY button.
Why it stands out
- Modern and fast — no page builder, no framework, no jQuery on the front end. Just the player, rendered from a shortcode.
- Precise analyzer — a real-time frequency spectrum with logarithmic frequency mapping, spectral tilt compensation and peak-hold lines. It reads like studio metering, not a decorative animation.
- Real waveform — the actual amplitude of your audio file, analysed in the browser with the Web Audio API. Not a generic placeholder shape.
- Custom colors — set the accent, background and text colors and the whole player follows: waveform, knobs, transport icons, playlist and the BUY/DL buttons.
- Beautifully designed — flat transport controls, arc knobs for volume and sensitivity, hairline dividers and the Inter typeface throughout.
- Keeps playing — the docked bar remembers the track, position and volume and picks them back up on the next page. Visitors who would rather not listen can dismiss it, and a small play button stays in the corner in case they change their mind.
- Lightweight — one PHP file, CSS and JavaScript loaded only where a player will actually appear.
- Drag & drop — reorder tracks in the admin playlist builder, and let visitors reorder their own view on the front end.
- Download option — offer your audio for download, or switch the button off globally in one click.
- 100% free — every feature, no paid tier, no upsells, no account required.
Sending a promo
Skin 3 turns a playlist into a promo page. The BUY button disappears, every track gets its own download, and a feedback form appears under the player asking for a favourite track, a rating and a comment.
- Build the playlist as usual
- Fill in Promo notes on that playlist: a heading, the press release, and a press kit file
- Copy the Skin 3 shortcode from the sidebar and place it on a page
- Set that page to Private or noindex so it stays out of search results
- Send the link
Replies collect under Promo feedback, and arrive by email if you set an address in Settings. Downloads stay locked until someone sends feedback, or you can leave them open and simply ask.
One thing worth knowing: the lock asks rather than enforces. Audio files still sit at ordinary URLs, so anyone determined can find them. It sets an expectation with people you are already sending music to; it is not a security measure.
Everything included
- Real waveform visualization with click-to-seek
- Live frequency spectrum analyzer with a sensitivity control (Skin 2)
- Broad format support — plays MP3, WAV, FLAC and OGG across modern browsers (lossless-ready for labels), plus AIFF uploads
- Album artwork display, uploaded directly via the Media Library
- Previous / Play / Next transport controls
- Shuffle and repeat modes: off, repeat one, repeat all
- Arc knobs for volume and analyzer sensitivity — drag, scroll, or double-click to reset

- Optional autoplay: on first interaction, or instant and muted
- Optional download button, disabled globally from Settings

- Playlist support with track list, track counter and collapsible list
- Dashboard with play, completion and download stats per track — privacy-first, aggregate counts only, no visitor tracking
- Adjustable player width, 300px to 1400px
- Site-wide docked bar, from a playlist you choose in Settings
- Continuous playback, so the bar picks the track back up on the next page
- Dismissible bar, with a corner button to bring it back mid-track
- Adjustable Skin 2 opacity, with a blur behind the translucent bar
- Optional Inter webfont, which you can switch off to avoid any external request
- Simple shortcodes: [aicmp_track id=”X”] and [aicmp_playlist id=”X”], with skin=”2″ for the docked bar and skin=”3″ for the promo player

Frequently asked questions
How do I add a track?
Go to AICreativa Music Player > Add Track, fill in the details, upload your MP3 and artwork, then publish. Copy the shortcode from the sidebar and paste it anywhere on your site.
How do I create a playlist?
First add individual tracks. Then go to AICreativa Music Player > Add Playlist, check the tracks you want to include, publish, and copy the shortcode [aicmp_playlist id=”X”].
Can I reorder tracks in a playlist?
Yes, in two places. In the admin playlist builder, drag rows to set the saved order. On the front end, each track also has a drag handle so visitors can reorder their own view. The player updates automatically.
How does the waveform work?
The player fetches your MP3 file and analyses the actual audio amplitude using the Web Audio API. The waveform displayed is a real representation of your track. If your MP3 is hosted on an external server with CORS restrictions, a consistent pseudo-waveform is shown instead.
Can autoplay start music when the page loads?
Browsers block audible autoplay until the visitor interacts with the page. AICreativa Music Player offers two honest modes in Settings: “On first interaction” starts playback at the first click, scroll or key press anywhere on the page, and “Instant, muted” starts immediately without sound and unmutes on first interaction. Autoplay applies to the first player on the page.
Can I hide the download button?
Yes. Go to AICreativa Music Player > Settings and uncheck the Download Button option. This disables it globally on all players.
Which skin should I use?
Skin 1 renders inside your content, so it suits a release page or a post where the player belongs next to the text. Skin 2 is a bar docked to the bottom of the window that keeps playing while visitors move around the site, which works well for a label front page or an artist site. Skin 3 is for promos you send out before release. You choose the skin per shortcode, and a single track always uses Skin 1 or 2.
Can I keep the music playing while visitors browse?
Yes. Under Settings, pick a playlist for the Site-wide bar so Skin 2 appears on every page, then switch on Continuous playback. The bar remembers the track, position and volume and picks them back up after each page load. There is a short gap while the page arrives, and some browsers will not restart audio without a tap, in which case the bar waits at the right spot. Nothing about your pages is modified, so this cannot affect your layout.
Can visitors get rid of the docked bar?
Yes. The X on the bar closes it and stops the music for the rest of their browsing session. A small play button stays in the corner, and pressing it brings the bar back exactly where it left off.
How does the promo player work?
Build a playlist and place its shortcode with skin=”3″. The player looks the same, but the BUY button is gone, every track carries its own download, and a form appears underneath asking for a favourite track, a rating and comments. Once someone sends feedback the downloads unlock, and their reply appears under Promo feedback in the admin, where you can also export everything as CSV or have it emailed to you. Under Promo notes on the playlist you can add a heading, a press release and a press kit file, which appear below the form. The press kit is never locked – only the music is. If you would…
Is the download lock actually secure?
No, and it is not meant to be. The audio files sit at ordinary URLs, so anyone who looks at the page source can reach them. The lock sets an expectation with people you are already choosing to send music to. If you need real protection, host the files somewhere that issues signed links.
Does the promo player store personal data?
Yes, and it is the only part of the plugin that does. When someone submits feedback, their name and anything they chose to add – country, organisation, website – is saved along with the rating and comments, so you can read who said what. Their details are also kept in their own browser so they do not have to retype them. Nothing is shared with anyone, and the plugin adds a suggested privacy policy paragraph for you. The ordinary players still store nothing about visitors.
Can I change the player colors?
Yes. Go to AICreativa Music Player > Settings where you can change the accent color (waveform) and background color.
Does it work with Elementor, Gutenberg, etc.?
Yes. Use the Custom HTML block in Gutenberg or the HTML widget in Elementor, and paste the shortcode.
Where can I get support?

Changelog
Adds a Dashboard with privacy-first play, completion and download statistics, broader audio format support (WAV, FLAC, OGG), and lazy-loaded waveforms.
3.10.0
- Waveforms are analysed several times faster, and once a track has been analysed its shape is remembered in the browser, so returning to the page draws it instantly
3.9.5
- New Skin 3, the promo player. Add skin=”3″ to a playlist shortcode and it becomes something you can send out before release: no BUY button, a download on every track, and a feedback form under the player
- Feedback asks for a favourite track, a rating and comments. Name, country, organisation and website are kept in the listener’s own browser, so a regular contact only types them once
- Downloads stay locked until the form is sent, or you can leave them open and treat feedback as a request rather than a condition
- Each playlist can carry a heading, a press release and a press kit file, shown under the form. The press kit always downloads; only the music is locked
- Replies arrive under Promo feedback with CSV export, a summary on the dashboard, an optional email alert, and a delete-all behind a typed confirmation
- Skin 3 is the only part of the plugin that stores personal data, and only once you use it. A privacy policy paragraph is suggested automatically
- Skin 1 can now be set as narrow as 300px, and switches to the compact phone layout by itself at 460px and below
- Smaller type and finer waveform bars throughout Skin 1
- Fixed the compact layout being partly overridden by the full-size rules, so the waveform and controls on phones are the size they were meant to be
3.6.5
- Single tracks and playlists now sit the same way in the page. A single track used to be pushed to the left edge while a playlist filled its column
- Trimmed about 16% off the height of the single-track player on Skin 1, with the artwork resized to match
- The waveform now uses a perceptual curve, so quieter passages read clearly instead of leaving the panel looking half empty. Peaks are unchanged
- Rebuilt the single-track layout on phones: a smaller cover sits beside the track details, and the waveform and controls each run the full width beneath them instead of being squeezed into a narrow column. About 20% shorter overall
3.5.8
- New site-wide docked bar: pick a playlist in Settings and Skin 2 appears on every page, so visitors can keep listening wherever they go
- Continuous playback: the bar remembers the track, position and volume and picks them back up after each page load. Off by default
- Visitors can dismiss the bar with a close button, and a small play button stays in the corner to bring it back mid-track
- New Skin 2 opacity setting: the docked bar can be made translucent, with a blur so the text stays readable over whatever scrolls beneath it
- The Skin 2 track title now sizes to its text, so the waveform sits symmetrically between the title and the counter. Titles also have more room before they truncate
- Previous, play and next sit closer together on both skins, and Skin 1 shuffle and repeat moved beside the playlist button at a matching size
- Fixed the close button jumping to the far left of the bar on tablets
- Fixed the track counter crowding the transport buttons on Skin 1 playlists on phones
- Tested with WordPress 7.1
3.1.3
- Hardened the input handling on the new opacity setting
3.1.2
- Fixed the track counter and time crowding the transport buttons on Skin 1 playlists on phones
